Usability test

A Usability Test was conducted to evaluate the Smart Claim app. A total of 6 users participated in the test, including 2 remote sessions. The users' interactions with the app were carefully observed to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and frustrations while using the Smart Claim app.

The test results were analyzed and compiled into a report, which highlighted key findings and insights about the app's usability. These findings were then presented to stakeholders in a scheduled meeting, where they were discussed in detail and prioritized for action.

Overall, the Usability Test helped to identify areas of improvement for the Smart Claim app, ensuring that it meets the needs of its users in a user-friendly and efficient manner.

What can I do better

  • Automatically fill the entire form. This will speed up the form fill filling experience of the User.

  • Use GPS or Odometer to calculate the travel distance accurately and self populate the amount.

  • Add custom tags to expenses to describe the category more precisely.

  • ‘Additional notes’ text field in both travel and food expenses form. This gives an opportunity for the user to communicate discrepancy.

  • Bank Account integration. This will help in fetching online or card transactions easily to upload.

  • Mail and share option. This will enable user to share the reports with concerned people.

  • Download .pdf option to fetch submitted report data on local storage.

  • Calendar integration to help users remind their next reimbursement submission date.

  • Smart notifications: If reports are done and ready, user will be notified nearing the end date and will be able to submit the report via the Notification itself

  • Smart filters : This will make easy segregation of data as per the user needs. It will also improve find-ablity of the expenses.

  • Text prediction can be used to speed up the form filling experience.
